Curriculum is Key
Infant and Toddler Program
(6 weeks - 2 years old)
This program follows “The Creative Curriculum” framework. Its goals and objectives revolve around development in four different domains:
The classrooms are set up to enhance growth in all these areas through dramatic play, science and discovery, creative art, literacy, block play, manipulatives and music and movement.
(3 – 5 years old)
The program is currently funded by and provided with in-house support and materials from Broward County’s Early Reading First Grant. The purpose of this grant is to promote early literacy through a strong research-based curriculum called Opening the World of Learning (OWL). The curriculum approaches literacy with a comprehensive, integrated and active program that sparks the children’s curiosity in the world around them.
The OWL curriculum encompasses all domains of including language and literacy, social studies, science, mathematics, the arts, physical development and social and emotional development.
