Early Childhood Program
An Early Start to a Lifetime of Learning
Did you know that 90% of a child’s brain is developed by the age of five? At Jack & Jill, our focus on children from six weeks to five years old allows us to make the most of this critical window of opportunity by providing a strong educational and emotional foundation for our children to not only succeed in school but in life. Our safe and healthy environment allows our children to explore and experience their world through creativity, guiding them towards independence. With a curriculum that supports cognitive, social, emotional and physical development, our goal is to make high-quality early education available to families, regardless of their income level.
Nurturing Infants
(6 weeks - 12 Months)
For working parents, the need for child care begins at infancy. Our infancy program stresses the importance of building relationships through familiar, loving caregivers. Infants learn about their world, through their senses - touching, tasting, smelling and seeing new things daily. A top priority is safety and security.

Wonderful Wobblers
(12 - 24 Months)
“Wobblers” are entering toddlerhood and beginning to explore the world from a new perspective - on two feet! Our program helps toddler’s master motor skills with opportunities to climb, balance and run. Age-appropriate activities include art, science, music, language, puzzles and pretend play.

Toddlerhood
(2 - 3 Years)
Active toddlers are testing their muscles and their independence. Our toddler classes are safe places to explore. The daily curriculum includes messy play, block building, art, music and movement, story time, singing songs and more. Family meals and toilet training help the toddler achieve independence.

Getting Ready for School
(4 - 5 Years)
Our four-year-olds are getting ready for kindergarten. They practice writing their names; counting and sorting objects; weighing, measuring and developing their creativity, so that they are ready for “big school”. Jack & Jill offers the free state-mandated voluntary Pre-K program during the school year. Children who are 4 years old on September 1st qualify.
