Linsey's Success Story

Working to Achieve the American Dream

When her sister could no longer care for her four children, Linsey couldn’t stand by and watch her nieces and nephews grow up in foster care. So she took the children in, expanding her family to include kids ranging from 4 months to 10 years old. 

Lindsey works hard to provide positive influences, stressing the importance of education and hard work. And she leads by example. She worked full time while attending Florida Atlantic University for her bachelor’s degree and is now continuing on towards a master’s in Social Work.  

Along her journey, Jack & Jill has been there to help. Most recently, Linsey turned to Jack and Jill to help her achieve the dream of home ownership. She’s taken a 6-week Financial Literacy series, provided by Bank of America, that’s taught her about credit and savings. She’s since created a separate “house” account that she plans to use to start saving for her first home.
