A Legacy of Literacy: Unveiling Our Little Free Library Celebrating Angie Parker September 9, 2024

We are excited to announce a wonderful new addition right outside of our school – a Little Free Library! This charming new feature has been generously brought to us courtesy of the Friends of Jack & Jill Center, dedicated to our outgoing Friends Board President, Angie Parker.

Angie has been an incredible leader for the Friends of Jack & Jill Center this fiscal year. Beyond her leadership, she has been a passionate advocate for our students and teachers, dedicating her time as a Classroom Buddy and serving as a United Way Reading Pal, mentoring several of our Madelaine Halmos Academy students.

The Friends of Jack & Jill Center thought the Little Free Library would be the perfect way to honor Angie’s dedication to literacy and her commitment to fostering a love of reading among our students. We hope this new addition will inspire our community to share books, stories, and a love for learning – just as Angie has done for us all.

We invite everyone to come by, take a book, leave a book, and celebrate the joy of reading!
