Open Positions:

  • School Counselor 

Description: Responsible for utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic and social-emotional development for all students

Required Education: Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field

Required Experience: Minimum 5 years experience working in a VPK and/or elementary school setting

  • Master Teacher

Description: Candidates should demonstrate process management and administrative ability.  Knowledge and experience developing curriculum and planning lessons is required.  Candidate should be highly organized and able to work independently and without much supervision.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.  Candidate should also have high energy and a willingness to be flexible and creative.

Required Education: Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field

Required Experience: 8+ years of teaching experience with 3+ years of experience training, mentoring and coaching teachers

  • Teacher

Description: To provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality respected under the guidance of the Lead Teacher

Required Education: Associate’s Degree in Early Education or Related field; Certification of a National CDA and experience in group care of unrelated children less than six years of age; and 45 DCF child care hours completed

Required Experience: One or more years of experience

  • Lead Teacher

Description: To create and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and to provide positive educational experiences for all students

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Preschool Education (Birth-Age 4) or Early Childhood Education

Required Experience: One or more years of experience in a program for preschool children
