Community members, you and your families are invited to our Madelaine Halmos Academy Open House on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM!
- Tour our brand-new, state-of-the-art elementary school building featuring two classrooms for each grade—kindergarten through fifth—in addition to a Music, Media, and Movement (MMM) Room, a Science and Art Lab, a large open-air classroom connecting the outdoors with a flexible learning space, and so much more.
- Engage with our passionate administrators, teachers, and team members who all possess a desire to see students thrive, and the ability to implement innovative approaches to education for an overall competitive educational experience for all of our students.
- Discover how your child could be eligible for a 2-year college scholarship through the Jack & Jill Center Opportunity Scholarship Fund, Presented by The Halmos Family. That’s right, we ensure all Madelaine Halmos Academy students are college-bound!
We are currently enrolling transfer students for the 2021-2022 school year, new students for the 2022-2023 school year, and summer camp 2022. Come visit our school on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM—we can’t wait to meet you! Please complete the RSVP form below.

Join us on Wednesday, March 9 at 5:30 PM for an Open House at our Jack & Jill Early Education Center and Madelaine Halmos Academy located at 1315 W Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312! The Early Education Center is enrolling children from 6 week – VPK4. Madelaine Halmos Academy is a beautiful, brand-new, state-of-the-art elementary school building features two classrooms for each grade—kindergarten through fifth—in addition to a Music, Media, and Movement (MMM) Room, a Science and Art Lab, a large open-air classroom connecting the outdoors with a flexible learning space, and so much more.
The event will commence with a Welcome Presentation at 5:30 PM, and will be followed by refreshments and school tours. To register, please complete the form below.

Voted the Best Nonprofit Fundraiser of 2021 by Fort Lauderdale Magazine—This casual soirée overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway features relaxed tropical beach décor, delicious drinks, an open bar, fabulous Bahamian inspired specialty food stations, a Junkanoo and live music and entertainment featuring the Weedline Band, all on the docks at the Lauderdale Yacht Club. Guests have the chance to bid on over 100 luxurious items in a live and silent auction while enjoying the panoramic backdrop of Fort Lauderdale

McLaughlin’s Sip, Shop and Celebrate Fall, 808 E Las Olas Blvd, then join the Friends of Jack & Jill Center for Happy Hour from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, 740 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Happy Hour admission is a $15 for Friends Members and $20 for Future Members and includes one (1) glass of beer or wine.
Dust off your leg warmers and tease your hair as Jack & Jill Center celebrates the best decade yet at its 80s themed 80th Anniversary!!
Join us on Saturday, October 22nd at Coral Ridge Yacht Club from 6:30 – 11:00pm. This totally awesome 80’s event, overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, will feature 80’s themed décor, delicious drinks, fabulous food, dancing and a live performance by the Marcia Mitchell Band. Party-goers are welcome to attend in cocktail attire; however, are given a hall pass to celebrate the theme by wearing quintessential ’80s fashion including bright neon colors, bold prints, teased and crimped hair and shoulder pads.Parking: Complimentary valet parking will be provided. Uber or Lyft is strongly encouraged.

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, the Young Professionals Network at Jack & Jill Center is holding their annual charity bowling tournament, Team Pouncey Bowl for Change, at Manor Lanes (1517 NE 26th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305). Individual registration is $30. Team registration (6 people) is $150. Registration includes 2 games, shoe rental, & 1 pitcher of beer per team. Enjoy bowling, a full bar, live DJ, raffle prizes, & an arcade! Sponsorship opportunities are also available! All proceeds benefit the children at Jack & Jill Center.
Who are the Young Professionals?
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) at Jack & Jill Center is a networking group of individuals ages 21-40 who are dedicated to serving their community. YPN provides community awareness, volunteer services, program assistance, and financial support for Jack & Jill’s children and families. YPN events include quarterly happy hours, volunteer activities at the Center, personal development events, opportunities to network with other Jack & Jill Center constituents, Trunk or-Treat, and more.
