Township Fort Lauderdale (219 S Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301) is a beer garden and eatery concept from The Restaurant People (TRP), and a sister venue to TRP’s existing restaurant in Tallahassee by the same name, which opened in 2016 and has since become a staple within FSU College Town. With 6,800 square feet of space, the Fort Lauderdale establishment replicates the style of the original Tallahassee location, with long wood tables and benches creating the look of a modern German beer hall. The Township slogan, FOR THE TABLE, BY THE PEOPLE evokes a sense of community and camaraderie amongst patrons, and the Township offerings include a variety of craft and domestic beers on 72 taps with a menu featuring a modern take on urban street food classics like bratwursts, pretzels, mac ‘n cheese, and more. The venue also incorporates many of Tarpon Bend Food & Tackle elements in to its concept, from its staff and legendary happy hour to its award-winning, American-classic menu favorites as an homage to TRP’s former much-loved downtown staple.
Jack & Jill Young Professionals
The Jack & Jill Children’s Center Young Professionals is a networking group of individuals ages 21-40 who are dedicated to serving their local community. The main goals of the Young Professionals is to provide community awareness, volunteer services, program assistance, and financial support for Jack & Jill Children’s Center. Events hosted by the Young Professionals include quarterly happy hours, volunteer activities at the Center, as well as the planning and hosting of the annual Fall Festival and Bowling Tournament.

Join the Friends of Jack & Jill Children’s Center for their annual Spring Social on Wednesday, March 20th from 6 to 8 PM at Chima Steakhouse (2400 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). This event features live Brazilian Jazz.
Event tickets are $35 per person and include 1 complimentary drink and heavy appetizers. Guests receive a $10 discount on rodizio (meats) and gormet salad bar. Tickets will be available at the door.
