Additionally, the Case Manager is available to help with resume writing, goal setting, job search, and family budgeting. Family assessments are done annually in order to more effectively assist a family.
J&J BOUTIQUE AND FAMILY RESOURCE ROOM
Jack & Jill provides a dedicated room that, with dignity and privacy, enables families to select clothing, shoes, canned and boxed goods, diapers, infant items and gift cards donated by the community. Also, the center has a Family Resource Room that gives families the ability to access online resources, complete homework assignments, and perform employment searches.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND
Provides funds based on an assessed need to families with emergencies including medical, dental, prescriptions, utility bills, rent or food.
Our Family Strengthening Program Manager works in conjunction with teachers and center administration to help identify and provide referrals for children in need of special services. We have partnered with other agencies to provide onsite therapeutic services. These agencies include Kids Spot, whose therapists provide Speech, Occupational and Physical therapies, and Kids in Distress (KIDS) which provides Infant Mental Health Counseling.
